"I was able to complete these small works by doing one for only 30 minutes everyday because my energy was quickly spent. But with this activity I gained a psychological strength that transferred to my whole body - even if I was working on the floor rolling around with my paintings and drawings scattered around me I felt so free again!
The works guided me to find strength and eventually I exhibited about 175 works in the size of 8x10" at the college that I work. To see this work that was a struggle all together in a two-floor gallery exhibit was pure joy. In the past, when I was a child, I became partially deaf in both ears. I utilized art as a form of communication and never left it...
